All conference sessions workshops will be held at the Hilton. In most years, the headquarters hotel for the conference has filled quite early, with room choices becoming increasingly limited as the conference nears. We encourage you to make reservations early. The discounted AEA rates start at USD 179 for a single, plus USD 25 for a double. Reservations require a one night deposit that is refundable up to 7 days prior to the first day of your reservation. Transportation: There are a number of ways to get to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Located just 10 miles south of downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is accessible via local Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) trains and buses, downtown and suburban shuttles and interstate highways.  The Hartsfield Intl. Airport's Ground Transportation Center is located near baggage claim, which can be accessed by exiting through the corridors of the North or South West End (W1 or W2) of the airport. The Ground Transportation Center (GTC) houses all Ground Transportation Services including buses, taxis, shuttles (shared-ride, car rental, off-site airport parking), limousines/sedans and City Trains/MARTA. Transportation services are available for persons with disabilities.

  • Shuttle,  typical minimum charge is USD 16.00

  • MARTA (Bus Service, Subway/Rail,) typical minimum charge is USD 1.75

  • Taxi, typical minimum charge is USD 25.00

  • Limousine, typical minimum charge is USD 45.00

Methods of Transportation:

Shuttle: The Hilton Atlanta does not have it's own shuttle service.  The Atlanta Link will take you to and from the hotel for USD 16.00 one-way, and USD 28.00 round trip.  The shuttle operates from 6:00AM to12:00AM, 7 days a week.  Reservations are not required.  Tickets can be bought online,  or at the airport's Ground Transportation Center.  They can also be purchased, cash only, from the shuttle's driver.  The Hilton does not sell Link tickets.  For more information on ticketing, and shuttle departure times visit the Atlanta Link website: www.theatlantalink.com,

MARTA:  Metropolitan Atlanta's Rapid Transit Authority can also get you to the Hilton Atlanta.  The Airport Station is attached to the airport, right off baggage claim. One way fares are only USD 1.75, and within 20 minutes, you can be downtown. If, like 75% of Hartsfield-Jackson travelers, you are flying DELTA, MARTA also offers e-Ticket check-in at their station, and has a RideStore in the station if you have questions. 

  • From the Airport by Subway (MARTA):
    Take the train north and exit at Peachtree Center Station. Take the Harris Street escalator or follow the directions for Peachtree Center Mall. You will go up a very steep escalator into the Mall. Take the walkway from the Mall to the parking garage & Peachtree Center Athletic Club. Take the elevator to the street. The hotel is on your right when you exit the garage.

Driving  The distance from the airport to the hotel is 12 miles, and the driving time is approximately 12 minutes.  The Daily Parking Charge at the Hilton is USD 12.00 and, the Valet Parking Charge is USD 14.00.  If you are driving in on a daily basis, you could also consider parking at one of the MARTA stations and taking public transportation into the hotel.  More information on this can be found on the MARTA website.  The link is provided for you at the bottom of the page.

  • Traveling 75/85 South:
    Exit at 249A (Courtland Street). This is a one way street and the hotel is one block ahead on your left.

  • Traveling 75/85 North:
    Exit at 249B (Peachtree Street). At first light, turn right on Peachtree Street. Next light, turn left on Ralph McGill Blvd. Next light, right on Courtland Street. The hotel is one block on your left.

  • Traveling from East/West I-20:
    Take 75/85 North and follow directions for 75/85 North.

  • From GA 400:
    Follow GA 400 South to I-85 South. Follow 85 south and take exit 249A (Courtland St). This is a one way street and the hotel is one block ahead on the left.
