STATEMENT ON CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN EVALUATION
Focusing on the role,
importance, and essential practices for cultural competence in
evaluation, the Cultural Competence in Evaluation statement was approved by the AEA membership in
April of 2011 and is available in three online formats:
of the summer of 2011, an AEA working group is identifying
avenues for dissemination and use of the statement. If you have
ideas that you would like to share, please send them to
email@example.com and the AEA
staff will ensure that they are shared with the group.
Between 2005 and 2011, an AEA Cultural Competence in Evaluation
Task Force worked to develop a statement focusing on cultural
competence in evaluation. As part of their work, the task force
collected and vetted resources related to cultural competence.
